Violet's Long Lost Sister Chap 4

Violet’s POV

It’s been almost 3 days, and still I have nothing about my long lost sister. But suddenly, my necklace glows even brighter than before and would have burnt my chest if not for my healing ability. It somehow led me to a bar. A bar in the woods? Strange. I shrugged and went inside.

Unfortunately, there are few people in here. I asked a random person the same question and picture I did all day and got the same response. I bang my fist on the table, frighting the guy and walk towards the exit, giving up until a low, clear voice tells me.

“I heard she’s living in a cabin not far from here.” I turned towards the bartender that speaks and forgetting my manners, I asked with a hiss,

“Which direction?” I’m surprised she didn’t feel timid or shocked about my tone and how close I am.

“When out the bar, turn right and go straight then you’ll see it.”

I muttered a quick ‘thank you’ and followed her instructions.

No POV

After the purple hedgecat left, the bartender smirks, revealing herself as the wise vampire, Mage. The place soon disappears like a mirage.
“Destiny. It’s the one thing that no one can change.”

Violet soon saw the cabin that the bartender told her. She goes and knocks on the door. ‘She better be here…’ She thought to herself. Someone opens the door, but it wasn’t Indigo. She looked at the man up and down. ‘What kind of hybrid is he? But the holes in his quills look interesting….’

She shook her head. “Hey, does Indigo live here?”

“Looking for me?”

Violet turns around and grins. “Indigo, I finally found you.”

“How did you know where I live?”

“An old bartender told me.”

Indigo smirks. ‘Oh Grandma, it seems you have met her after all.’ She said to herself. “It’s so good to see you, Vi.” She sees Slasher still standing outside the door. “Oh babe, I want you to meet Violet, my long lost sister. Violet, that’s Slasher, my boyfriend.”

In a flash, Violet was now in front of her with a knife on her neck. “Whatever. Now, I want answers. What happened to our parents?”

“Why don’t you use your powers?” Indigo said, unafraid by the action.

She dabs the knife further, touching her skin. “Answer my question!”

Indigo winces in pain as she felt her blood came out from the cut. She knows she will heal.

“Indigo!” Slasher shouted. Indigo reassures him that she’s fine.

“You can’t… kill me.”

“True.” Violet throws the knife away. She too wasn’t a killer but she knew her sister is a vampire like her. “Now tell me, why do you left?”

“Let’s go inside then I’ll talk.”
