Wedding number 2: Shadouge

(April 25th)

Shadow was looking in the mirror, looking a bit uneasy.

Silver: Hey Shadow, you okay?

Shadow: Yeah, just a little… nervous.

Sonic: The ultimate liform, nervous? *laughs*

Shadow shot him a death glare.

Silver: Guys, calm down. And Sonic, don’t insult others. It’s going to be your turn soon.

Sonic: *gulps*

Shadow snickered at Silver’s remark. It also made the black and red hedgehog feel better.
Shadow was wearing a black tux that was open a bit with a white shirt underneath and a red bow on top.

Sonic: You ready, Shad?

Shadow: Hell yeah!

Silver: *smiles* Then let’s go!

Before they left, Shadow’s cell phone ranged.

Sonic: Dude, you should turn that off.

Shadow: *shrugs* Guess I forgot. I’ll do it after I take this call. *answers it* Hello?

Knuckles: Hey Shadow, it’s me Knuckles. Sorry, but Tikal and I won’t be able to make it at you and Rouge’s wedding today, there’s some urgent business I have to do at Angel Island.

Shadow: It’s ok, Knuckles. Thanks for letting me know.

Knuckles: You’re welcome. We’re hope you guys have a great wedding and congratulations.

Shadow: *hears a smile from his voice* Thanks, bye.

Knuckles: See ya, oh and say hi to Rouge for me.

Shadow: Sure. *hangs up and turns it off*

Sonic: Was it Knuckles?

Shadow: Yeah, they aren’t coming today.

Sonic: Aww, that’s too bad. He would really love to be the best man at the wedding.

Silver: I’ll send a text to Blaze.

With the girls

Rouge: So, Blaze?

Blaze: *puts makeup on Rouge* Yes, Rouge?

Rouge: How’s your honeymoon with your man?

Blaze: *blushes* It was good. We went to Hawaii.

Rouge: Aww, that’s sweet!

Amy: *walks in with a bouquet of flowers in her hands* Ready, Rouge?

Blaze: Not yet, she’s not.

Blaze quickly grab a brush and comb Rouge’s long white hair. But before she did that, a sound of a ringtone came on Blaze’s phone.

Blaze: *checks it* Oh, it’s a message from Silver.

Cream: What does it say?

Blaze: *reads it loud* Hey, babe. Could u tell Rouge that Knuckles and Tikal won’t be coming over today? Thanks, love u. *blushes at the last part*

Cream: Oh, I’m sorry Rouge.

Amy: We know what he means to you.

Rouge: *wipes a tear* Don’t pity me. I’m fine.

Blaze: Ok, done. Ready?

Rouge: *takes the flowers from Amy and nods* As I ever be!

Shadow was waiting for his bride at the top and nervous is building up every minute. Especially when there’s lot of people staring at him. He silently thanks the heavens when she appeared, beautiful as always. She was not wearing a traditional white dress, instead wore a red wedding dress, with short white glove, and red eye shadow with a little black eyeliner in each eye. He takes her hands in his and mouthed to her, ‘Sorry that Knuckles and Tikal isn’t here…’

‘It’s ok, Shady.’ She mouthed back. People sits back down and quiet down when the priest spoke. With the vows said, Shadow and Rouge kissed, made some people cried and lots of cheers from the crowd.

At night time, the newly wed couple then held an after party, with Espio being the DJ and people chatting and dancing on the middle of the floor.

Rouge: Aww, Shad. Isn’t this great?

Shadow: *nods* Yeah, it sure is.

Rouge: *leans on his shoulder*

Shadow: Rouge, Knuckles said hi.

Rouge: Oh ok. If only they were here.

Shadow: *pulls her closer* Yeah, me too.

Silver: *comes up to them with Blaze in tow* Told you can do it.

Shadow: *shakes his head but smiles a little* Whatever.

Blaze: *smiles* Let’s go get some drinks, Silv. Talk to you later ok, Rouge?

Rouge: Alright, bye Blaze *waves at her*

Blaze: *waves back, grabs Silver’s arm and they both walk away*

Rouge: Shad?

Shadow: Yes?

Rouge: Want to dance with me?

Shadow: Rouge, you know I don’t dance…

Rouge: Don’t use that excuse. I know you can dance.

Shadow: Fine, just a little one.

Unknown voice: Well, well, well. Look what we have here.

Shadow and Rouge both turn to source of the voice. Shadow confused face turned to shocked when a red hedgehog, quills similar to Shadow’s but with purple streaks, a purple down arrow on his forehead, chestfur like him, covered with blue and neon blue gloves with purple arrows and neon blue and grey pattern short pants, hugged him.

Shadow: *pushes him off* Spencer, what are you doing here?

Spencer: What? Can’t I be at my cousin’s wedding? You know, weddings only happen once in your lifetime. *he said in a matter-of-fact*

Rouge: Cousin? Wow, Shad. I didn’t know you had a cousin.

Shadow: Ugh, my love, meet Spencer. Spencer, this is my wife, Rouge the Bat.

Spencer: *bows slightly and kiss her hand* Nice to meet you, Rouge. I hear you’re a GUN Agent.

Rouge: You worked with GUN?

Spencer: Well, yes and no. I created and fixed weapons and inventions and all that. But one day, I want to do a mission. *smiles*

Shadow: And it won’t happen.

Rouge: That’s why I haven’t seen you around. *turns to look at Shadow* Why didn’t you introduce him to me earlier?

Shadow: Because he’s a genius,

Spencer: *grins* Why, thank you!

Shadow: And talks too much.

Spencer: *pouts* Hey, that’s mean.

Rouge: *giggles* Nice to meet you too, Spencer. You know, your attitude reminds me of Big Blue.

Spencer: Sonic? Yeah, well nearly everyone says that. But I’m not a hero. While Shadow is. I may be smart and creative but he’s strong, badass and powerful.

Shadow: *rolls his eyes* Geez, thanks Spence.

Spencer: No problem, cuz! Oh and Maria say hi and congrats for the wedding.

Shadow: *ears perked up*

Rouge: You can talk to Maria? But I thought she-

Spencer: Dead? Yeah, I can do talk to the dead. *rubs his head* It’s one of my gifts. But I can’t bring them to life, I’m not a god.

Shadow: Of course you’re not.

Rouge: Honey, be nice.

Spencer: It’s ok, Rouge. *shrugs* I’m used to his behaviour. Hope you guys have a great future. *kiss her cheek, waves and walks away*

Rouge: *can’t stop but blushes* You’re so lucky to have a cousin who’s a gentleman and…smart.

Shadow: Oh, you compare him to me, eh? I’m not good enough for you? Why don’t you just marry him?

Rouge: Shadow! Don’t say that! I love you, so much. And I love everything about you. *kisses his lips*

Shadow: *kisses back and picks her up, bridal style* Let’s go to bed.

Rouge: *blushes and holds tight to him* Ok.
